Residence 214| Residential Architecture and Interior Design
Location: Panchkula, Haryana Area: 2500 sq ft Completion year: 2020
Located in Panchkula, Haryana, Residence–214 embodies a sensitive balance between vernacular expression and modern living. The façade, crafted with Bangalore tiles and terracotta jaalis, responds thoughtfully to its south-west orientation—filtering sunlight to create a poetic play of light and shadow through the day. Sudan teak, white stucco, painted metal, and lush greens complete the warm, earthy palette. The petal jaali along the boundary wall ensures privacy while maintaining visual connection with the street. Rooted in material honesty and climatic responsiveness, the residence transforms everyday interactions with sun, wind, and sky into an experience of comfort, intimacy, and timeless charm.
